Paul Maag

Paul was 13 years old when he was riding in the front seat of his mothers 2001 Chrysler. He was not wearing his seat belt when his mother lost control. The car hit an embankment then rolled back onto the road. Paul was thrown from the car and died from his injuries. The mother however was wearing a seatbelt.

.A 13-year-old Arizona boy was killed in a rollover wreck early today on Interstate 10 east of Tucson, officials said.

The boy was in the front seat and not wearing a seatbelt when the 2001 Chrysler passenger car ran off the road just before 1 a.m. about 23 miles east of Tucson at milepost 284, said Officer Quentin Mehr, a state Department of Public Safety spokesman. The car hit an embankment then rolled back onto the road.

The boy, Paul Maag, 13, was thrown from car and died from his injuries, Mehr said in a news release. The driver, Kelly Anne Maag, 40, of Duncan, was wearing a seatlbelt and was flown to a hospital for treatment.
